Re: Electronic Fags
Half the point of smoking for me is the aesthetic pleasure of handling the cigarette, the tightly rolled tobacco with it's rich aroma, the satisfying click of the Zippo, the glowing tip and the long feather of smoke... Only the expense worries me, not the health implications. i want to start again ...

Bob Geldof's heart is definitely in the right place.
Bono, too, does much more good than harm.
Throwing money at Africa for decades hasn't really changed much but you can't knock them for trying.

Re: 1st STRANGLERS GIG
Hello guys, 1st post here (appropriately about my 1st gig.) It was the City Halls in Glasgow, 1977. A magical night: JJ in leather, Dave in that jumpsuit, Jet a massive frame behind his drumkit and Hugh sporting a ripped donkey jacket. The set was most (if not all) of Rattus as this gig was pre Her...

Re: scotland .anyone care?
Depressing to read this morning that the under 55 age group vote voted for independence and it was the over 55 age group that secured the 'No' vote. Depressing that people who are not the future have decided the future of people who didn't want the union. Even more depressing to read that just over...

Re: ANY CHANCE OF A PISSED UP ROW??!!
Sorry, kind of lost the point a bit there. Being of Welsh descendants I can categorically say the Scots are lily livered gaelic arses! A bit rich, coming from sheep-shagging, choir-singing, Celtic-lite, coal mining, silly accented, gobbledegook-speaking, poetic drunkards who don't even have proper ...

Re: scotland .anyone care?
The No vote was an 'im alright jack vote' selfish bastards. So I hope we get more of the same just out of spite. We had a chance to change UK politicsand amke a real socialy conscious democracy but people just dont care, it seems people only care about themselves and their own nose. Fuck them I hop...

The irony is that the Yes Camp convinced themselves that an independent Scotland would be a Camelot of shining knights bringing 'social justice' and prosperity to all.
As if, (and if only....)

Re: scotland .anyone care?
Good morning, fellow Britons! I'm glad I can still say that. The Yes voters weren't defeated as such; they hold the same views today as they did yesterday. But being part of the Union doesn't make you any less Scottish, (or English, Welsh or Irish,) so with increased powers for Holyrood on the way, ...
