Good article.
These young musicians didn't start listening to music suddenly in 1976 so had to listen to what was available previously.
And to be interested enough in music to want to be a musician they must have listened to a wide variety of genres.

Two episodes in and it's entertaining if nothing else.

As much as I like the music of The Clash, especially the first album and as mentioned the London Calling album, they must have been more amiable to journalists and critics than our lads to become darlings of the media.
