Re: People who might have slept with Aqua Marina.....
Was Johney before or after Ringo Star,My eldest loved Thomas when he was young, now in his 20s, this franchise must have made millions Much before, they were probably around 1966/67 as I had them when I was a nipper! They were direct readings from the original Rev Awdrey books and I remember reading...

Re: Siouxsie and the Banshees - Where do I start?
Didn't Altered Images support Janet and The Icebergs? Severin certainly produced their early stuff and I'm sure they were taken under the Banshees wing around the "Dead Pop Stars" era.

Re: Siouxsie and the Banshees - Where do I start?
Bllimey it's all so long ago and I'm sure that Mully's right about the Join Hands album. If I remember correctly wasn't it in Aberdeen during the tour that McKay and Morris walked out and as The Cure were support they drafted FB in on guitar and Budgie was indeed drumming with The Slits at the time ...

Re: Siouxsie and the Banshees - Where do I start?
There are a few of these sort of stripped-down demos on the CD version of Kaleidoscope including one of Happy House. I thought that McGeoch had left Magazine before he joined The Banshees? Regardless, the guitarists were always the moveable feast within the band with the core remaining very much the...

Re: Siouxsie and the Banshees - Where do I start?
If you only want to select from 5 then I'd suggest the following to give a good end-to-end view (if you can view music!) of the various line-ups and musical directions that they took. After The Stranglers the band I've seen the most are The Banshees approx 25 times and for me they were at their best...

"Coming Up For Air" CD found and ordered from Amazon for under a tenner. Invisible Girls album (and I think it was vinyl) was £53 minimum second hand!

Re: Michael Jackson R.i.p
...actually I feel a bit sad (much to my surprise). Yeah, he was weird and his music wasn't exactly to my taste but he was a true original and in a world of bland X Factor style pop copycats I think we should applaud that fact. A genuine one-off. A genuine talent. Yeah, sad. well said. Had 10 or so...
