I kinda would've expected them to be forum members as well. Or at least one of them!!! :shock: :shock: :shock: Why would you expect anyone of them to be a member of this forum :?: I'm sure that Stranglers fans & tribute fans can exist without this forum.....which indeed they do/have done so far...

Good point Bubba - I remember once (once!) when I saw 4MH offering to do a bit of "roadying" and shifting a very small percentage of gear into a van. And passing a hat round after a gig for a few pounds for the band (they probably walked away with possibly enough for petrol). So yeah comp...

Time for a gig in London. Yeah, the last two were packed out. :roll: :smt069 I wonder when the last time anyone here last drove two hundred miles in a knackered van, carted two tons of equipment down a tiny staircase, set it up, played a two hour gig to twelve people, took it all back UP the stairs...

The last time I went to Swindon the clutch on my Scooby started grumbling. :smt013 But that's as nothing compared to the morning after the return trip from Birmingham when the cambelt on my Fiesta van went pop and wrote it off in the process. :smt013 S.O. were never immune from automotive woe. :smt005
