Re: The Damned Wolverhampton Wulfren review

Great review that, Pidge 8)

Saw them in Leeds recently, not the best show I've seen them put on TBH but still a cut above the majority.

Penetration supported, they were pretty fine too, Pauline's voice seemed even better than before.

Re: My Annual Miranda Hart award for unfunniest comic.

I like Stuart Lee, he makes me laugh sometimes. Good call, I like Rich Hall too and Lee Evans though he's jacked in being funny these days, officially. Unofficially he probably jacked it in 20 years ago. Love most of the Python stuff, plus The Goodies. The Goons were another era & generation for mo...

Re: Finchley Boys 40th

Bloody magnificent fund-raising for charity as well, I kept seeing amazing stuff come up for auction on Facebook for this event. Where did that Stranglers/JJ jacket come from, it looked superb to say it wasn't black? 8) Steve Hillier and co. certainly put a lot of effort into the fundraising and th...

And the Bake Off bats, Sue Perkins especially, who told them they're funny? Christ they seem to be being promoted as the new French & Saunders (who I know some folk can't stand too but I like 'em).

Re: Garry Coward-williams

I at least was told indirectly by 2 of the originals that they weren't interested in helping as it was 'the past' Hence "The Strangers hit the road again with the Classic Collection tour. Coinciding with the re-release of the band’s entire catalogue from 1977 to 1982"    As...

Re: "The Clash" became what they wanted to replace?

Cheers for clarifying. There is a new flick out, apparently a biopic. Sorry but I can't be arsed searching for it :P Think it's called London - about a young fan being introduced to Punk and specifically The Clash Yeah it must be that one thanks, different cover image though (this one looks pretty ...

Re: Garry Coward-williams

Perhaps he could collaborate with Mr Bobinblack? Thanks for the suggestion, mate. I think me and GCW are fwends on Facebook but I've steered away from contacting him about books as he's officially one of the pukka establishment-in-black, he wouldn't need or want my help and i don't like people thin...

Re: "The Clash" became what they wanted to replace?

Never seen Rude Boy , likewise also forgotten about it . One film from The Clash I did see- Straight to Hell .....quite possibly the worst and most stupid film I've ever seen that doesn't have Jim Carrey in it . Well - when I said I saw it , I watched about 30 mins and turned off it was so bad - th...
