Re: Stiv Bators

I have bought all Stiv Bators recordings, also the Last Race CD which was released in 1996 or 1997. The track "Poison Heart" was also released by The Ramones as a single. Steve was a very nice bloke and wrote some great music with the Dead Boys and the Lords of the New Church. Quite a long...

Re: Phantom Chords

Great stuff indeed. A pity that it was never released by Polydor. There are activities (incl. a facebook group) that this album will see an officially release since a few years but in vain so far. About 8 years ago Dave Vanian even re-recorded some of the tracks.

This is one band I would like to see reform. Has anyone caught Neville Staples live? He is awesome! Great to hear all those old songs live, I was into the The Specials (briefly) before I got into The Stranglers! Jez The Specials Gangsters is still one of my all time favourite songs. It still sounds...

Only chance they had with something off Suite XVI (imo) was "I Hate You" (quirky gimicky) BUT this would still need a champion DJ and then prime time airplay (on virgin, Radio 2 etc). Spot on. Spot on I will be amazed if it got into the top 40, in actual fact I would give anyone on here 1...
