Re: Killing Joke

From the 8 albums's i own now, it's the early albums i prefer. The best for me is the debut, which still sums them up best as a band. Then Revelation's which is just as good as the debut. What's this for? has it's moments From then on it gets a bit patchy i don't really like Nightime! hate Brighter...

Killing joke
Hated early stuff, but boy didn't they improve.
I liked them early on , but from Pandemonium onwards they have been superb on the whole .

Can't actually think of any .
Bands I hated include :
UB40
Annie Lennox or anything to do with
Olly Murs
Dexy's
Maybe a few others a bit less , but overall - I still HATE them all.

Re: Buzzcocks/ The Skids/ Penetration - Royal Albert Hall

Fingers crossed for Devoto Jim That could be interesting , not sure him and Diggle get on these days . Seen a video where Diggle comes across as a bit of an ass when Devoto does a set with The Buzzcocks . Mind you I suppose its the only alternative given no more Pete Shelley . the Skids I think sho...

Re: Best Intros to songs from other bands

Discharge .......... Ain't no Feeble bastard ....... a full on thudding bass into an assault on the senses . My favourite from this band , probably not everyone's cup of tea , but they influenced a generation of punks AND thrash , death metal too .

Re: RIP Pete Shelley

After witnessing the two Back to Front shows I’d say there is no love lost between Devoto and Diggle. We’ll just have to wait and see won’t we. I saw a Youtube clip of a gig where the original Buzzcocks played a few songs ( Devoto singing ) , then after that it was Buzzcocks without , which Diggle ...

Re: Keith Flint.

Went to his pub once in Pleshey , didn't realise it was his until yesterday , I went around 9 years plus ago , it was for a race which started at the pub ....that may sound odd , but we used too run in trail races which start at low key venues as opposed to road running .
