Love the Sweeney even though I think I’ve seen them all.
Also like Tales of the Unexpected.
Agree Jeremy Brett as Sherlock was excellent . I do like the old Basil Rathbone one's too .

AMC and Setting Sons especially are classic albums. Setting Sons is one of my favourite albums. Down in the Tube Station...

Re: Favourite Western? So many to choose.

Wouldn't know where to start , I like a lot , from spaghetti westerns to the John Ford films , Magnificent 7 . Couldn't pick a top ten let alone a top one . Far too many quality films . Even sci fi Westworld as well . I do think Fistful of Dollars is better than Good ,bad and the ugly ......but both...

The word " narrative " . Everything you hear these days is fucking narrative . Well , fuck off . Anyone saying narrative should be given a damned good thrashing . Absolutely Jon, been meaning to mention that one, its one of a few words I find seriously irritating when upon hearing it bein...

Re: RIP Diego Maradona

Personally , I think Pele was better but that's just opinion.....different era's, different styles etc . Nearest England have had was Gascoigne . Shame he tarnished his career with that goal but necessary great , helping Napoli do the near impossible . Far more footage of Katarina over Pele so far e...

Re: The Jam some good songs but rather boring imho

Hear me now you Jam haters! (only kidding, your entitled to your opinions .... sort of) As a kid I really loved The Jam, all their singles back then in the 70’s were such great songs and great examples of mature songwriting for someone so young as Paul Weller. I bought most of the singles but only ...

Re: RIP Sir Sean Connery sad news and loss.

Did some excellent films . My fave would be Man who would be king then Robin and Marion . Not a Bond fan , in fact only ever seen Connery and Moore in the role , never bothered with the rest as IMO if you've seen one Bond film you've seen the lot , but it's what he will be remembered for mostly . W...
