I saw them at SBE the other Sunday and they were spot on, really good. Jonesy was looking a lot better than he has for a while, still stick thin and looking like he could do with a decent meal but certainly not as drawn as he has seemed.
I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Benelux Tour
Apart from Susie and myself, the Pil/Mantheylovetohate/Bazainblack entourage and LadP who else is going next week?
Plenty of opportunity for pre-gig socialising if previous trips to Holland and Belgium are anything to go by!

Re: Stranglers @ Cambridge Corn Exchange 17th March 2011
Not sure that you've quite got the hang of Cambridge, Toiler! University city? Yes. Loads of students? Yes. Cheap boozers? Not a cat in hell's chance! However, The Eagle is where I go when in the city centre and as Freddie Laker pointed out, it does have a beer garden-type affair which is ok providi...

Re: XTC- The Ballad Of Peter Pumpkinhead
I haven't heard all of XTC's releases however Nonsuch is one of the few albums on my iPod by any band where I've got most album tracks on there. TBOPP isn't one of my favourites off the album, if I had to choose I'd go with Books Are Burning, Humble Daisy, The Smartest Monkeys & The Disappointe...

Define "cool"! Also, what publication was this list in? Presumably something read by aspirational, proto-yuppie types.
