Re: What is your current Covid employment state?

I work in the public sector and I'm currently working from home - even though it's very quiet and a bit boring sometimes, I'm very grateful for it. It gives me a routine, plus my job is secure, so I'm more fortunate than many others.

Re: Andy Gill RIP

It'll be interesting to see the outcome of this, it certainly sounds like he could have been an early victim of coronavirus.

Re: Best song on Ten

Someone Like You is a good song, but Never to Look Back is head and shoulders above anything else on the album. It's interesting, given that he wasn't contributing much, that JJ arguably wrote the 2 best songs of that period, in Never to Look Back & Instead of This. I'd argue that during the 10 era...

Re: BEST THING ABOUT PAUL'S DEPARTURE

eturning them back to the more raw mk1 days havent had it for 15 odd years so you missed the whole Norfolk Coast frenzy? Now, now, Eric, I don't think much gets past our friend toiler. Joking aside though, I don't think the band have had as much success & exposure as they did with Norfolk Coa...

This was MKII's strongest album in terms of songwriting.

Re: The Clash

I liked The Clash ...... for a fairly short while . I thought the first album was great , 2nd very good ....... but once the reggae and other stuff surfaced I completely lost interest in them . Re: Andy Gill RIP

I was very sorry to hear that he'd passed last weekend. I saw Gang of Four in 2018, and while it wasn't the best gig, I'm glad I got to see them before his death. RIP

Re: posh twat and the damage done

I've just been informed that the posh geezer who hosts the gameshow Pointless has released a cd of covers done in an opera style and Golden Brown is one of the songs. AAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGHH!!!! why can't these people fuck right off. I bet he was one of the wankers who used to take the piss out of punk...
