do you know how that would compare to one called 'easycap' ? apart from the price,i have an easy cap and it loses abit of quality. the same applies to easy cap using ulead video studio you can pick quality and output..but still not as good quality as the vhs... when using the one you have is the fin...

ive managed to record live in madrid sis from vhs to dvd recorder. i used a hahnel video master enhancer which was ment to be for use with old camcorders(see picture below) the video is about 2 hours so i set record for 2 hours LP.. if i record for 30 mins-1 hour will this improve the quality?? i co...

so i rigged up my vcr to pc..video composite in, and sound through mic input..used windows movie maker.. there was no funny business..but just poor quality... it was worse than using my usb capture device. if i use other programs the picture is either dodgy or picture size too small..

i will try that again when i go to mums later.. i used the scart first and then male rca red,white,yellow and it was going from colour to black and white.
i didnt turn everything off before changing to rca but tbh i dont think it will make a difference will i will give it a shot :)

im not asking for anything mick, just advice.. i wanted to record from vhs straight to my dvd recorder... instead of through the pc because the quality suffers.. and on some of the dvds that are knocking about they contain sis videos.. thats all im asking..

so i went to my mums cuz she has a dvd recorder. i took up the sis stranglers live in madrid vhs tape. and it poped up on the srenn after a while something like 'paused copy protected' or something like that.. i know there copies of meninblackinfrench.french documentry and others that are sis tapes....
