Re: fiction factory
Your friend should write an email to the lead singer Kevin Patterson, he now works in IT at the University Of Dundee  I can't remember them ever doing a tour, I seem to remember reading somewhere that they were fed up touring (with previous bands they had been in) and started Fiction Factory as...

Re: Fruitcakes & conspiracy Bell-Ends
All conspiracy theory stuff is utter tripe. In response I have just burned my copy of The Gospel According To The Meninblack. Within moments of doing so a bright light appeared and I was abducted and repeatedly fiddled with by aliens/government agents. If anyone has a spare copy who could send it t...

Re: "Ultravox" one of the great bands? IMHO.
Saw them a few times in the 1980's and saw them in 2009 and 2010. The 2009 gig (first gig the original band had played since Live Aid in 1985) in Edinburgh was much better than the show I saw at the Hammersmith Apollo a year later. 'Brilliant' is worth a listen (better than I thought it would be). R...

Re: M*A*S*H
M*A*S*H - What a good TV series that was back in the day, don't make them like that anymore unfortunately. Great characters who were genuinely funny, and a fantastic script with biting acerbic humour and commentary on wars in general. Bernie Classic series. Always remember watching an episode on BB...

Re: Blondie - Glasgow - 1979
I seem to remember it was 'live' on the Old Grey Whistle Test (31st December 1979) and was introduced by Bob Harris from the Glasgow Apollo. It's on DVD and as has been mentioned was broadcast on BBC4 a few years back.

Re: The next leader of The Labour Party should be...
I am afraid with all respect it makes no difference who or what leader they elect.I fear labour are doomed at least for the next 10 years and maybe forever. The reason's the demographic has changed in the country Ie:former working class Labour voters have become tory voters in a large enough volume ...
