Thought the original REM were pretty good. Not around very long but John Ellis did a pretty good job with them.
A shame there's hardly any live stuff of theirs around.

by Cells&Plasma » 07 Jan 2023, 11:30 They were definitely Festivals in Summer 1995. I remember being told of Budapest, Madrid and a couple in Belgium where the Band travelled on Eurostar. There was nothing in Strangled about these although John mentioned Budapest in an Interview and found this ...

Re: Christine McVie RIP
I like a bit of Fleetwood Mac whether from the days of Peter Green or later.
Some of their musicianship / song writing is brilliant.
Not all, but I dare say you might feel that about some tracks even from your favourite band.

Re: Live Excerpts official fan book
Never bothered - for the main reason it has been done before and rather well for the fraction of the price. https://amzn.to/3GZCwqW Admittedly out of print but there will be copies on ebay or in other bookstores. Jim have to say Bob's publication Peaches was exellent. Really good angle to run &...

Re: Live Excerpts official fan book
I worked with Robert Endecott on The Peaches book. I played a very small part he did the bulk of the work but it was the same deal basically. Fan gig reviews and album reviews. What we attempted to do though was make it chronological and Robert painstakingly went through all the bootlegs to quote H...

Year Zero - Never Trust A Hippy. Instantly had to forget all your music likes at that point - oh the perils of slavishly following fashion. So can't disagree with the article. Even to the point that I witnessed the Sham / Steve Hillage moment myself. All on a day of total chaos. Sham were on the mon...
