Re: RAH
There was some filming going on in Glasgow.
I'd rather watch a gig filmed there and other similar venues than the likes of the RAH.
On the comment about the electrifying gigs in the 90s, that was irony right?

Re: Cambridge
I was also at the Cambridge gig, my only one of this tour. I loved the 2 set format, shame it can't always be like this. The first set, what with all the epics played, was a treat ! Hallow, Raven, Genetix, Baroque, Sewer......, what more could you want. My only complaint - trying to get to the toil...

Re: Glasgow SEC ARMADILLO Stage Times
Gotta belated and quick review, so guess this is the place to stick it  A bit of context, after last years "Final" tour I reckoned that that was a suitable time for me to quit all this seeing The Stranglers live malarky, but, as luck would have it, my daughter got me a ticket for la...

Re: 50th Anniversary Setlist?
Jet was the driving force behind the MiB idea. He may have been the initial spark of inspiration due to the literature he was reading, but it was Hugh that moulded those disparate ideas of UFOs and bible stories into the concept. Unless you're suggesting Jet wrote the lyrics, which he didn't. You w...

Re: 50th Anniversary Setlist?
I think Hugh came up with it. He was reading the Bible when he was in Pentonville and that sparked the connection. I imagine Jet would've assisted and encouraged it mind with his UFO interest Jim Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk And JJB wrote the song Meninblack prior to HAC being in Pentonville.

Re: 50th Anniversary Setlist?
I'd be well up for JJ doing something weird and arty as a solo project, maybe another concept piece like Euroman Cometh or The Gospel According to the Meninblack (even though The Gospel was Hugh's concept, it says so on the sleeve) You don't know much about the Stranglers do you? The concept was on...

Re: 50th Anniversary Setlist?
I understand the definition of "trolling" perfectly well. Hint: it's not supposed to mean someone expressing an opinion that's counter to yours. I like how you disingenuously quote-mined that little bit. I'll repeat the rest for context: That’s a mischaracterisation. I’d didn’t say I’d ba...
