manchester advice
Assuming the Manchester gig goes ahead, we'd be arriving in Manchester about 6 o clock, for a couple round city centre beforehand. I don't recall any or many pubs near apollo, and it's a fair way from city I think, so can anyone advice if we can get a bus up to the venue, and if so from where can we...

Re: Tour Start Tonight enjoy at Sunny Lincoln.
It was a great gig and anyone going to any of the gigs is in for a treat in my opinion, perhaps especially the lively Glasgow and Manchester ones

Re: Dark Matters - Initial Thoughts/Reviews
after a few listens, I think the new album is fantastic. lots going on, production is awesome, I like all the tracks on it personally, singing best for ages, Dave's playing is totally brilliant and a great way to bow out. I'm not sure comparing it to other albums is fair, as a stand alone album it's...

Re: dark matters chart chances
I listen to radio 2 a lot at work and they have really been plugging the manics and steps for weeks now, they keep plugging their online concerts on the website and have given heavy airplay to both band's' previous singles for ages. No chance we could have overtook them but 3 is great in the midweek...

having played the album a few times now, it's beggining to sink in.
it's definitely going to be a 'grower'
every track to me is at least 8/10

Re: Dark Matters - Initial Thoughts/Reviews
I think the production is excellent, not a bad song on the album and I reckon its a grower. Better than Giants on first listen. There's a lot to it, its complex and deep. It'll get better the more it gets listened to methinks

Re: Singles
It'd be nice to get some airplay on the radio. I thought 'if you should see Dave' was airworthy, as is 'if somethings gonna kill me', but so far This Song and White Stallion seem to me to be the ones to have the potential to get some real recognition and airplay. It would be good. It seems like the ...

AC/DC
I quite like them, as far as huge rock bands go, they are right up there with the biggest ever and they seem relatively down to earth as people, Brian always comes across well. I've never seen them live but their concerts sell out to massive crowds worldwide and they've been doing so for years. They...

Re: Alexa
At least you got some gratitude Jim, when we first got it, my wife was pissed and asked 'Alexa, what's a 69?' it replied 'I'd rather not answer that quesstion' then she asked 'Alexa, are you a virgin', to which it replied 'I haven't got a body' hours of futile fun followed afterwards, but at least i...
