Re: Adam Ant - Lost It Again!

Good link - I saw him in York on Saturday and it was one of the best gigs I've ever been to.

Not as good,in my opinion,as 'You Are the Quarry,' but has some fine moments all the same. The first four songs are really good - particularly like 'Dear God Please Help Me' with the Morricone orchestration. Tails off towards the end of the album but on the whole I reckon it's a very good Morrissey ...

Very underrated album in my opinion - we might as well make the most of it as there probably won't be another Manics album for a while, what with Nicky and James' solo projects taking precedence. Did you know there was a promo video made for '1985' by the way? Clips of the miners strike/Torvill and D...

I had the same problem a while back not helped by the totally useless 'instructions.' In the end I downloaded the free version of something called Musicmatch Jukebox - does the trick and well easy to use!

It's a great live album alright - it has a real manic energy to it.
I saw Jerry Lee play live last year in Bradford on a double bill with Chuck Berry.Chuck looked bored and just went through the motions but Jerry Lee was incredible - rock 'n' roll personified!

I got one for Halifax  Had to take the day off work to do so,though! It's ridiculous that so many tickets have gone to touts, however : looking at eBay there's loads up for sale...even for Halifax! Thank goodness we don't have this hassle getting tickets for bands like the Stranglers and the Da...

End of the Century is an excellent documentary - I can't recommend it highly enough - for me it's on a par with Clash documentary Westway to the World...great music, fascinating interviews and altogether well made, researched and put together. Two scenes especially stick in my mind : Johnny Ramone tak...
