Re: GIGS,GIGS AND MORE GIGS!

Maybe Krafwerk too. Unless you've just won the pools, or personalty know one of the band, then you've no chance of securing briefs for Kraftwerk this late mate. I know. I was on to the ticket website as soon as they were available, and by the time I had clicked "I am not a robot" (ironic,...

Re: Places To Stay Near The O2

If he's traveling by public transport then options are tube (Jubilee line) or bus ( which don't accept cash; have to use a Travelcard, Oystercard or contactless). Depending on what he's doing the next day it m...

Re: Glav Club anyone?

Not good. If there's a few on here why not meet up and have a boozey sesh in Russia. Get the Russian landlord to stick some tunes on and crack open the cheap voddy! Re: Glav Club anyone?

For any gig that involves committing to travel costs etc. we've always decided according to how we'd react if gig was cancelled at last minute. If we'd still be happy with the financial cost, time commitment, opportunity to sightsee etc. then no problem. If any doubt - then will reconsider. Are ther...

Re: Wilko, Daltrey album and shows

Saw Wilko twice last week at Tunbridge Wells Forum. Really good gigs and as it's a small venue (capacity maybe 250?) a total contrast to the Koko gigs. Also lucky enough to get tickets for SBE. Am really surprised they haven't added additional dates there. Nice one Pam. Good venue, saw him there la...

Re: BROARDCHURCH

Am regretting having totally missed this series. It's been notable how many people have mentioned how good it was. Now that we have so many tv channels and other options that degree of discussion/recommendation is really rare.
