Re: Jim Mac changing the bass drum parts on old songs
I wouldnt be surprised if JJ has something to do with that. Didn't he mention on that recent French interview some of the bass drums parts weren't played how he wanted or they realised they were done different...maybe he wanted to change things up abit.
Just a thought.

Re: Reading the review the final full UK Tour?
The last time I saw the band with Dave I thought the keyboards were so over baring (not his fault at all may I add) is the improved sound down to a new front of house sound guy does anyone know? I noticed a few of the crew setting up the equipment didn't look familiar.

Re: Reading the review the final full UK Tour?
Baz owns that frontman role now end of End of what , exactly? The "end of" the shit that comes out the "end of" a bull? Because that's what that statement amounts to  He absolutely owns the front man role. Fact. Its no coincidence Baz joining The Stranglers catapulted them ...

Re: Birmingham
Alot of the time his Sunderland accent is very prominent, totally different from Hugh, he does try and add some 'bite' and 'snarls though.
He certainly gets into the spirit of Hughs vocals, but its not a carbon copy at all....

Re: Birmingham
Either the Stranglers can only be defined as Black/ Burnell/ Cornwell/ Greenfield, in which case it all ended in 1990 and the last 32 years have been various degrees of tribute act (there’s an argument for this, and I don’t 100% disagree with it), or the Stranglers is a linear progression from 1974...

Re: Newcastle
Fantastic performance, great energy, band was on fire. Huge respect to Toby, sounded great, massive massive shoes to fill, must be hard given the circumstances of his appointment. Yep and from the few songs i've heard from this gig it's once again a huge fantastic performance from them which seems ...
