For the people who dont/cant /won't go to see the stranglers live, a fairer question to ask would be if they would listen to a album without JJ.

Baz has been liked for nothing to do with Paul but more for what he has done with the band that was previously wrong overall for many years before he ever joined in my view only. Its not as if they play the same 4 or 5 baz songs (ok maybe relentless), so there are enough to play, but they never play more than a few at anyone time.

I think fans underestimate how much baz's vocals and stage presence contribute to the live sound of the stranglers now. The pendulum swing from hugh to paul, and then to baz has made some think that baz is nearer to hugh than he is. I'd argue that replacing baz with hugh as he is now, or anyone real...
