I was at their last gig in Derry. The bass player ended an emotional gig by holding up his hand, fingers out and asking "What's this?" after a stunned silence he said "5 of these!" giving us the bird. Not quite hose a but special all the same.

Finally got the album and I love it, this is a great band - shades of Elastica sure but also the ballsy alternative spirit/sound of Babes in Toyland with English accents. This is a really strong album, every song arrives fully formed and throbs along. Also it must be said that mr Burnel's production...

The new album is worth checking out, especially the special 2 disc edition where you get the full band on one disc and solo Billy on the other. Nerdily I have mixed them up!

Big fan of the Braggster, the box sets are worth getting as well.

Cheers for that, I'm a fan of this lot, went to see them just after the 1st lp and it was one of the best gigs I've been at. Love the new stuff and I'm hoping to catch them again. Is there a Baz connection? Or I'm i imagining that? :?:

Not really mysort of music. I remember a jj and baz video interview where jj talked about them and he said to them "this sounds like it could of been released 30 years ago" & they were really happy with that comment but he thought they would of tried something new. I don't think this ...
