Re: RAH

I was at the RAH and regardless of certain posts on here where people are having their say on the current line up this was a very special gig in a very special venue. Best song of the night by a country mile was Sewer. So good to meet up with mates and people who I haven't seen for many years before...

Re: 50th Anniversary Setlist?

People slagging off Hugh is perhaps the most bizarre of all, though. If not for Hugh, none of us would be posting here. Or Jet's logistics, or Dave's vital musical output. Nobody ever slagged off Jet's logistics. Nobody ever slaggsd off Dave's keyboard playing either. Until towards the end when he ...

Re: SLF 2024 Tour

Just back from Bristol. Fucking insane. Swore I wouldn't hit the mosh pit but good old Gizzard talked me into it after about ten seconds of the first track (suspect device) The place was heaving and the band were loving it. My ears are ringing and I'm hitting the whisky to try and come down. Great ...

Re: 50th Anniversary Setlist?

The big question that has yet to be answered is has Stan ever seen the band or indeed Hugh live? I have followed the band since 1978 and have seen all incarnations of the band multiple times, I am very much looking forward to seeing the Bristol and RAH gigs. Hope to see Stan at one of them for a goo...

This is an excellent album, been a long while since I 'discovered' a new band.

Paul and Jaz were I believe the lyric writers.

RIP Geordie.

So very sad.

Re: Your not so good gig experiences.

This wasn't bad for me but a bit of a bummer for Morrisey fans. I think it was at Milton Keynes or reading but been to lots of festivals so they all blend in to one. Well anyway at this gig it was popular for the left side of the stage to have a throwing bottle fight with the right hand side of the...

Re: The Best of Baz

I'm a big fan, Darkadelic, the new album, is full of great tunes. Like the Stranglers, they have evolved over the years and straddled the genres. And like The Stranglers gone are the mad rushes of Love Song, Blackout into more mature but cleverly written songs. Varying lineups but the key remain s ...
