An appalling local band from Finchley whose name I cannot remember. The venue was the old Finchley Gaumont cinema and these three fellas made a terrible noise. I think this was circa 1976 and was on a late Sunday afternoon before a film came on. The cinema has since closed down.

This dreadful experience was swiftly followed up with a Gary Glitter concert but I cannot remember where.

I honestly haven't a clue.

It must have been at the Glasgow Apollo 1980'ish.
I had a look at the Apollo website for the bands that played in 1980 and am still none the wiser, although I'm pretty sure it wasn't the Stranglers.

1981 or so in the local youthcentre the local bands Noodrem (ten years later they became the shrtly famed Darryll Ann) and Silent Footsteps

First real gigs: THe Cure , faith tour summer 1981 in a circus tent

No Nukes festival april 9th 1982 with a.o. The Stranglers!

the jam bingley hall stafford 79 i think,great gig in a huge market hall type thing,does anyone know if the stranglers ever played this venue it was a great place for a first concert.
