You a big Gary Glitter fan then Jimbo?
I tried to make him laugh, He didn't get the joke, and then he said I wasn't right in the head.

My first proper grown up gig was The Police at The Top Rank in Swansea.
Snippets of the Message in a Bottle video were filmed in the street outside earlier that day.

Siouxsie and the Banshees, Leeds University, 1980. Without doubt the loudest gig I have ever been to. I actually had impaired hearing and tinnitus for a day afterwards.

first gig 4 me was hugh cornwell at leeds cockpit, 2004. met him before at HMV then went to his gig. was so excited, was 18, it was great for a first gig, seeing my heroi and even meeting him too. great memory. remember going to fab club after wi a bag full of hugh merchandise. asked for stranglers and the DJ put on go buddy go. ended up getting a lift in the back of a van.
