Penetration & Teasing Lulu

Post by Bear Cage »

100 club, Nov 8th: Penetration play the classic album Moving Targets in it's entirety for a one off show only. Teasing Lulu will be support.

Stranglers on the 4th, Siouxsie on the 5th and now this on the 8th, if I go to all three it's gonna be a very expensive week.

Anyone seen Penetration live recently, are they worth the effort?
Then I got tired of counting all of these blessings, and then I just got tired.

My band supported them 4 years back in Stoke (if thats recent). Yeah they were pretty good and Pauline was a very laid back chilled person. The place wasn't exactly full but quite a few baldy lusty 42 year olds were content to fantasise over one of punks premier pin ups.

I have seen Penetration about 5 times since they reformed but have always thought that they were just ok,that is until i saw them a couple of weeks ago at the Rebellion festival where they were superb.....An excellent performance and Pauline's singing was spot on...

If you get the chance then go and see them..

I'm friends with Lou from the band was chatting to her the other day - I think they just called it a day and had families and stuff.
