The North Pole, earlier today...........probably!

But seriously, I've got a feeling in me water that this forecast isn't going to be as bad as the Met Office are making out. :?

All ya need is one flake Yellowcake, and a day with those tootsies up on the dashboard should be a safe bet! ;-)

Sorry mate.... couldn't resist!

Actually, what do you guys do when snow disrupts rail services? Do they say "ok lads/ladesses, you can scoot on home early today" or wah?

Our slightly blonde office manager announced defiantly this morning that "If it's more than 2 inches I'm staying in bed tomorrow".

Obviously easily pleased....

Our slightly blond Receptionist said that if it snows "heavily", she will not be in tomorrow.

Imagine her reaction when I said that I can pick her up in my car on my way in tomorrow morning. She lives a few minutes away from me.......

The slightly blond kids of today eh ?

I will try Jim but it will still be dark.

I can feel a "Collars and Cuffs" thread coming on......

Had some random myspace bulletin come through the other day from some girl I hardly know but whom I kindly consented to allow as 'a friend' some time back. Along with all her other myspace 'friends' I was invited to ask her ANY one question and to expect an honest answer.

Needless to say I haven't heard from her again.

No snow here in North Oxfordshire, and there was nothing but bright sunshine in South Wales this morning. Went to South Devon as well, and the clouds were very dark and snow like there, but nothing falling.

Its snow..get over it.

central ontario ..windchill -27 today snow predicted yet again for the next seven out of ten days. Northern ontario under an extreme weather alert with windchills in the -40 range. We had an old biddy recently whose car broke down, she nods off...car is towed (with her in) but the interior is so iced up nobody can see her. She's towed to a car-lot and left for the night. They found her the next morning, still alive but only just....big media story on how she miraculously survived. Unfortunately she died the next day.

We've had a big dump, two inches thick.
