I;ve done this before possibly, but what the hell reflective of all my life am guessing just ten albums

1. the stranglers err tough one, tough one but right now I am going with feline or rattus based on these being the first I heard

2. Killing Joke- absolute dissent (too easy to say first album, this is the best album ever from a band who have already endured a 30 + year career)

3. Motorhead No Sleep til hammersmith

4. New Model Army- Thunder and Consolation

5. Siouxsie and the Banshess- JuJu

6. Asian Dub Foundation- A history of now

7. Kate Bush- Hounds of love

8. The Smiths- Meat is Murder

9. Linton Kwesi Johnson- Forces of Victory

10. David Bowie- Hunky Dory

fuck I have missed out so many albums , 10 is never enough but there uou go

Love Pulp - not everyone's cup of tea, and saw Rollins Band at Reading (twice) in the early nineties - fuckin awesome :!: If you've not heard much from either band, these are two great albums to introduce you. Totally different though :!:

PULP were kind of hard to aavoid at one point, didnt much care for them at the time, but have the hits and I think Last Day of the Miners Strike is a fuckiing fantastic song, I believe I have A Different Class by Pulp knocing around. Rollins is a guy you just got to admire, but don't own any of his material period. But fuck how could I have left either of Joy Division's albums out, even substance would have done nicely, and there's hundreds of others you know what I would rather go for a nice big capacity ipod, solar panel to charge it or what have you, a record deck and the remaining 6 or what have you items would be pretty much any of the choices on vinyl, so long as at least one was a stranglers album, prob my copy of rattus coz it has a good personal story behind it sort of thing

I know that feeling, still there's at least 5 excellent ones Killing Joke- Extremities, Dirt and Various Repressed Emotions, that's a blinding album, loathe to say it but probably like it more than I like The Raven!
