Instead, check out Ghost Car - again all girl band but very good (and signed to One Little Independent rather than a major). Punky, feminist and tuneful.

No, just totally bored of having this posh, well-connected, piss poor nonsense rammed down my throat and being told it's some sort of game-changing shit when it isn't. I'm resenting the way that even non-mainstream music has been hijacked by nepo babies and silver spoon-fed twats.

I'm revisiting their back catalogue. I quite like the vibe on "First Band On The Moon" very 60s/Summer-esque. I'm starting to file them next to Cud and Boo Radleys (i.e a band I hated in the 90s but possibly as I've grown older I've come to respect).
