Jeff Beck RIP

Post by Greatkudu »

Ok now Legends are bandied around like Cannon Fodder now,Jet was a legend, and the same club must be afforded to Jeff Beck sadly gone at 78,the Yardbirds one of the most influential bands ever and of course he did so many other projects, but he made the Guitar sing,he could play anything from Rock to Jazz and more,a very sad loss to music, but what a legacy, another great leaves us but the music will live on,and a very down to earth Chap to by all accounts, most of the greats are.Lt Kudu.

I think he toured last year? Seem to recall my parents going to see him. Incredible talent.

Truth and Beck-ola are great records. A pre-Faces Ronnie Wood and Rod Stewart (long before he became a joke), not to mention "Beck's Bolero" with Keith Moon, and pre-Zeppelin Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones. Superb stuff. RIP.
