Just seen trailer for new BBC drama series about S.A.S with a cover version of No more heroes playing in the back ground. Any info on it?

All the remaining original lineup will get Royalties,so doubt they care, but a pretty awful version.Lt Kudu.

It's an ok cover, Skins cool. Odd though why they did not just opt for the original.

Or if they were going to do it with a more modern slant, get it done by a more recent artist. Though as it's set a while back, a more modern slant doesn't necessarily fit.

I don't watch enough films to be able to comment, unless you count "Casino Royale" which wasn't really a remake as the first one (with David Niven) doesn't really count - I've never seen the first version, it's described as a "spoof", which alone put me off it. And in a similar area I could mention "Never Say Never Again" as a "Thunderball" remake, but I'd only be proving your point.

To be fair they did play Something Better Change over the end credits - which was a bit bizarre - and unexpected!
