I wouldn't describe that as "very good reviews"

A better going out on a high, would be a farewell tour. Would prefer that to just stopping. These new songs won't get a live outing.

I don't think Knox can perform live anymore due to Health, website says no more Vibrators gigs.Lt Kudu.

He stopped gigging with them around 2011/12 I think. I saw them in glasgow,2014 and it was the trio line up. Knox has done a few original line up gigs in recent years though. There was going to be a couple earlier this year but they got cancelled and John Ellis said on his Facebook they wouldn't be rescheduled so that was it,the end. I'm thinking these shows were to have been the band's farewell. Seems strange the most recent line up not doing even a one off final show.

Yeah it seems strange - I appreciate health reasons come first, absolutely, but a one off? They are a legendary punk band which ever way you look at it. Deserves a send off surely?

I saw them about 8 years ago (double header with 999). I think only the drummer was original. Was enjoyable all the same.

Reading here and there,it seems Nigel Bennett is in Australia and pete honkamaki has moved to finland,so the current version is over. The original line up farewell shows earlier this year were cancelled cos Knox was ill, so that's it,the band are finished .

Such a shame but everything ends eventually. Sometimes you just have to draw a line under it
