Although the John Entwistle clip is weirdly cool.

Quite a US-centric list - what a surprise. Well done for them including Peter Hook though - now who is his bass-playing hero?

Has been discussed before, its pointless really,it's all about the best bass player for a certain band or music? If you are talking about sheer technical skill, you would have to say session players as they have to play every type of music etc.But JJ and John entwistle are my two favourite bass players.
