Re: From the jam All Mod Cons
It was a great gig last night. The gig was sold out about 200 people their. All Mod Cons was great to hear fully live, Davie Watts, English Rose, A Bomb in Wadour Street and Down at the Tube station at midnight were the really highlights. After the did the album, they did the Butterfly Collector I was very happy to hear them do that, Start which sounded great, Going Underground, That's Entertainment, Eaton Rifles. Overall a great gig with a great set, the nearest I will ever see to seeing the Jam and it was well worth it. I really hope to see them again sometime soon.

Saw them at Clitheroe on Saturday night. Sold out weeks ago. Excellent night great to hear the entire All Mod Cons album plus some old favourites. They announced that they are doing an acoustic set and a Q & A next March in Clitheroe and following that up with a tour of Setting Sons. Russell Hastings sounds very much like Weller too. Well worth checking them out.

They're on at the Nantwich Jazz and Blues Festival, Easter Monday. I said a few years ago this would start becoming more of a rock thing.Alexinblack wrote:I really hope to see them again sometime soon.

Gonna try and make that one, they have had some good bands over the last couple of years, the Beat, and the Blockheads.

Not sure whether I'll do this one, more likely to go and see Big Country, just because I've seen them before and it was good.
