Getting mixed up there Apollo - though Hector Nicol was funny in his own right. The Bing Hitler character was created by Craig Ferguson - now a chat show host in the U.S and seemingly touted to take over from David Letterman.

On the subject of Scottish comedies - what about Naked Video? Some decent sketches and also the series where the characters of Rab C Nesbitt and Jamesie Cotter were introduced.
