The way recent gigs have been going I'm sure Straighten Out will put in a performance that will be discussed for quite some time. I know the band are looking forward to this gig as much as we are

It just makes me think of Sid (50 million watches) off in a foreign country to see the band, drank himself silly earlier in the day and forgot about the gig! Went back to the hotel for a kip and slept right thru it. That'll teach him...or maybe not...

That is a classic. What country was he in?

I'm not sure...but I think Pam and Andy were there, they would remember.

Have a vague memory of this happening but can't remember who or where (sorry - guess I must have had a drink or two at the time as well!). Don't think it was Sid though.

Can't make it tomorrow I'm afraid as have family party. Have fun !

MEA CULPA! It wasn't Sid who got trashed, fell asleep and missed the gig...it was John and Tania and it was in Blois. Just got a correction from Sid! My apologies Sid, I know you never get drunk!

Me : “Having a meet up and then going to see that Stranglers tribute band I told you about”.

Mum : “What time are you all meeting up ?”

Me : “About 3pm”.

Mum : “Don’t drink too much”.

I have a ticket but Ive been working in Sweden for 2months and have only seen my daughter for about 48 hours in that time....besides, its strictly over 18s
