I know I'm more than a little biased where Straighten Out are concerned, but surely people who hadn't seen them before couldn't fail to be impressed by this gig. Great warm up for those moving on to the SBE later.

Members of this forum being really well represented, I won't list them all for fear of missing someone, but special mention for a rather sweaty Rodders (only met him twice but feel like I've known him for years) TBC, Paulinlondon and of course Shaven(ffnnarrr)Raven.

First gig I've ever been to in a converted public bog, bit of a bugger hauling the gear up & down them chuffin steps. Biggest laugh of the day - probably came as soon as we had arrived when One Shirt Phil went flying over a monitor and landed flat on his Chubby little face

Seconded.

Loved every minute of the show and hope the band come back to London soon. Very professional, very tight and so nice to meet with some of them and their entourage.

Please come back again. :smt006

Yes indeed, it was a storming performance and a great way to warm up the evening. The band played superbly and I enjoyed it a great deal.
In fact I have rarely had more fun for a mere 5 quid in a public toilet.
I tried to make him laugh, He didn't get the joke, and then he said I wasn't right in the head.
