IMHO by writing the 12 episodes of ‘Im Alan Partridge’ series, Peter Baynham, Steve Coogan and Armando Iannucci created the best comedy series ever written.

I recently rewatched Steve Coogans other series with his character ‘Saxondale’ and that is also very well written and an extremely funny series. Partridge has always been my fave but I’m beginning to think Saxondale is up there too, it’s very underrated and prob not as well known as his Alan Partridge character though.
