A bottle (or 5) for the weekend

Post by PaulinLondon »

Have bought a very nice bottle of red vino from Sainsburys for about £5.99.

It is called "Ravens Wood" Lodi 2003 and is made by Ravenswood in the USA.

Why ? Because it has a fab picture of three ravens in a circle on it !

Have I tasted it yet ? No. Will I ? Yes.

Have a fab weekend all.

These are the only bottles I'll be opening this weekend.

F*cking hate wine. Been dabbeling in it a bit lately, cos the women like that (i think?), but picked up a bottle of red by mistake the other day - cost a fiver, but would rather put it in a skip then drink it. red wine is evil.

Gee Paul, that's about the same price here as well! Yes, the 3 Ravens did bring a smile.

The last two nights I've been playing a gig backing another American bluesman - lots of booze available, terrible really, but it has to be done. Last night I was downing the Stella onstage and throwing the empties over my shoulder Begby stylie.

Hangovers can go to bollocks.
If Dave was to use a Hammond L100 for just one more gig I'd die content.

Had a relatively booze free weekend. Friday I went to a gig and got pissed on Guinness. Saturday I started drinking in me local at 1pm and finished around 7pm. Sunday had just 1 bottle of Leffe.

My word today has been tough. Three day bender and then a Monday morning to contend with. Dunno how I've managed to keep going. :(
