Seen them live once in 1985. it was very very intense, that Jaz Coleman is something else on stage!
As for their recorder work , I always was into the first LP and Revelations. The slightly more commercial sounding Nighttime was also very good (Eighties! Love Like Blood!) but I lost track of them after that.
I liked the comeback album from two years ago with Dave Grohl guesting.

Saw them for the first time in 2003 at Bristol Academy. It was one of the best gigs I've ever been to!
Going to see them next week(12 Oct) at the same venue.
Got all their albums and my personal favourite is Pandemonium which is superb!
Also Democracy,Nighttime and the 2003 album are excellent!

Don't miss them they are something to behold.

Check out the support band "October File", really good set of blokes, sound fantastic and Steve on Bass + Matt on guitar are massive stranglers fans.

I saw them twice this year, at the Dour festival, and last thursday at the Voorhuit in Gent. very powerful, going to a killing joke gig is like going to some religious gathering, with the GReat Guru Coleman spreading the Words for 2h !!!!!!!

Killing Joke are brilliant. Prepare to enjoy yourself, Johnsa, and give us a review. I'm going to see them in Birmingham - looking forward to it immensely.

I haven't seen them since 1984-what a gig that was.I doubt you'll be disappointed.Thinking about doing Brum myself, as at the moment I seem to be re-discovering my favourite punk bands of my youth.

Am I jealous or what.

Beware the Tinitus though.

Loud, you'll not believe what your hearing.
