If they do something from MK2 I hope they consider In Heaven She Walks. I think Baz's voice would be great fit for that.

Don't think they've ever played 'Waltz' Live .... although Hugh has ....

Brought to the band by Paul - would surprise me very much if JJ even remembers it.If they do something from MK2 I hope they consider In Heaven She Walks.

Agreed too a great song...we'll it's a very good Paul sung song because he's got the good vocals to do that song justice can Baz pull it off in a nice way not like Paul did if I'm honest in just my opinion no one cam do Paul the way Paul did his range was quite excellent then again he was the best vocalist this band has had but not the best vocalist that suited the stranglers disitincitve style if that makes sense.... that for me will always be hugh.Cricklewood wrote: ↑08 Mar 2024, 19:53 If they do something from MK2 I hope they consider In Heaven She Walks. I think the great Paul sung songs will be left well in the closet.
Each vocalist this band has had has their own stlye and deliverance which only they can do and it only never seems to work when they try and do the same songs that we are used to other vocalists doing that for me never sounds as good but they all sound good to me doing their OWN material.
But Paul improved some of the JJ sung songs live so it's not always for the worse North Winds live being a fine example of improving a song Paul's version I thought was amazing.
