Ha ha yeah i remember that one now and you are right who cares and also that's what live music is all about atmospherics affecting strings or playing something different is all part of the live experience. There are so many differences that we could all come up with better or for worst from live compared to studio. If it was always exactly the same we could all stay at home watching Stranglers videos instead.

It's miles off topic, but I believe it was Dave that made the initial comment re the Golden Brown solo. Hugh acknowledged it in Song by song iirc

Also, the small matter that he wrote the original solo. Probably can't even be arsed playing it "just like on the record" - he's made his money from it. Who cares what else? I'd be happy if I never heard that song live again tbh.

Very true. Anyway, can't say I'm that interested in this vinyl. I used to collect, but I've not got the space anymore. Will definitely check out the merch stand on Friday though.

Agreed, I couldn't really care less about this limited edition vinyl LP to be honest, I already have the original pressing.
I'd have bought something new, like a 7" or something, but oh well.

They did have something like that and hoodies.
The Dark Matters vinyl had sold out when I was there. Not sure if they limit the numbers to each venue.
I got a tour t-shirt.
