Gang of Four

Post by jcinblack »

Just back from seeing Gang of Four in Bristol.
Went as a favour for a friend and they blew me away, wow.
Every member of the band was on it, especially the guitarist who was probably the best I've ever seen.
Wonderful

That can be a very rare feeling but one of the most uplifting feelings ever when it happens. I remember that feeling too from some bands and these moments stay with us .
I bet i know what you are doing today on Spotify listening to the band lol. Great stuff !!

Saw them in Edinburgh last Sunday, loved it!
Never say goodbye,
For we'll all be with you someday,
Fond adieus but never say goodbye

I was a massive Gang Of Four fan in the 80s and they were incredible live. I saw the farewell show at Leeds Warehouse in 1984 and met them. Hugo had gone by then.

In recent years it's been the Andy Gill show so I'm pleased the others said 'hang on a minute what about us'. It's strange but I didn't have the urge to go :-(

I'm glad they are putting on a good show.
