Just heard the sad news,so sad,Ghost Town one of the greatest songs ever written IMHO,far to young to go.RIP.Lt Kudu.

That's the song I thought of too. So true in many cases and yes, Ghost Town is indeed a classic.

Ghost Town is indeed a classic, but not one Terry Hall had any hand in writing. In fact, he didn't really do much songwriting in The Specials as Jerry Dammers was the driving force in that band. Fun Boy Three were a completely different story.

Anyway, this wasn't news I was expecting to hear today and more than a bit of a shock. RIP.

sad news indeed.

The Specials first album is something that’s always been in my life from very early memories, one of the first bits of music to make an impression on me.

Was at the punk festival in Vegas 2019 to see MIB and the Specials headlined that gig brilliant they where also loved Fun Boy 3

Truly gutted. My first steps on stage were at a school event miming Too Much Too Young with me mates. Always followed him, a fantastic body of work imho. RIP

What a shame, was never big into ska myself but it was that era when music resonated with me the most, and some of their songs definitely did that! Undoubtedly another great musical talent lost and most certainly Too Young
