Jim is not a director of Coursegood which suggests he is still a hired hand. Jet, JJ and Baz are the only three listed.

There are two other companies associated with the band, Plugshaft and Plumbshaft, of which Jet, JJ and Hugh are directors

I guess you either get all upset about it or just laugh it off. Most of the comments I've seen directed at Hugh are ridiculous. He's a founding member, if you don't like him then what the fuck are you doing on a stranglers Facebook group?!

Does that not equally apply to these forums?
Does that not equally apply to other ex and current band members?

I liked the Smiths musically, but always (and still) disliked Morrissey. However I would not join a Smith’s forum or Facebook group to express that negativity to the fans there, that’d just be trolling.
Personally I always think if you cant say something positive don't bother, or just say not for me rather than an total rejection of the band as they are now, I just don't see the point, I will give an honest appraisal of the first French date if I can go and we dont have another lockdown due to the Martian virus :smt005 Col Kudu, I've promoted myself.
Well i'm with you on that one about the band and positivity, this is a forum and people are entitled to their opinion's expressing say their like's and dislike's but without it getting to much so to speak.

The Mungo Jerry tweet indicates to me that Toby is not a fully paid up member of the group, more of a gigging musician. Bit like Jim. Not a officer of "coursegood" like JJ, Baz, Jet are and Paul was. Im surprised Jim isnt either.
Toby may choose not to stay, Ian Barnard didn't stay too long.

He went on a World Tour with Bombay Motorcycle Club in 2012 so they had to find someone else.

But, he is mentioned as a Strangler, I'm not interested in the business behind the band.

I don't get this Jim plays on the new album and has earned his spurs, for fucks sake why do some demean his input, I doubt he cares doing what he loves to do. Lt Kudu.

No one is questioning is input. It's evident he's giving it everything. I think there's confusion (quite rightly) at the moment into who are "The Stranglers"

Announcement pending I guess.

Don't think so. Your mortgage going on Toby being the new keyboardist?
