First impressions are quite disappointing if I'm honest. Might go into detail later or it might change. Who knows.

I really like it, marketing, promotion and purchase options relating to the album have been excellent (about time, hope the penny has dropped for the future), album is diverse, well produced, sounds great with no weak tracks, a massive improvement on Giants, whats not to like, 9/10

Yes- Very good I said I thought it would be my 17th favourite album and I was wrong.. its certainly top 10.

Better than Giants and 16.

Down <<< I am not keen
Breathe <<< might be a grower

No Mans land << love it
White Stallion << superb

Other tracks with the production sound really good.

Well done to THE STRANGLERS

Mine arrived about 30 mins ago.... very enjoyable album indeed.

Vinyl mastering better than the digital my ears!

I hear what JJ means about it being a grown up LP.... If You See Dave is a real grower.

Good job lads!

Hasn't arrived yet , but downloaded from Spotify so can listen on drive to my long walk today .On quick listening probably the only one I would not really listen to is Breathe and maybe Lines .Some great songs on it , long intros reminiscent of Raven ( length wise not song wise ) , seems to be well worth the wait and a fitting tribute to Dave . Maybe more prog than punk and not typical Stranglers.....nice to get some comment on world events too , again reminiscent of Raven ( Shah Shah, Nuclear Device and Bear Cage also from that era ). Anyway Boxford drive here I go and a proper listen .
All quiet ..........

Taking into account everything that's happened over the past 18 months both within the band and worldwide, I think it's a bloody good album. Just don't understand why people insist on comparing with a) other stranglers albums and b) other bands. Oh and post Hugh, it's nearly 30 years ago, the band have evolved.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion which I fully respect.

Let's just hope this release reaps the rewards it deserves, especially for all connected with the band who contributed to Dark Matters.

Roll on the tour.
