Shades of Plato.

Post by gjinblack »

I think there was a thread recently about where people heard new music from.
I've had a fair bit from these forums thanks to regular posters.
This brings me to Shades of Plato and their album - When Sparks Fail to Light...

I've heard other material by them and liked it so I thought I would give the album a go. I wasn't disappointed.
The tracks strong and varied with some good riffs and great bass lines... what more could you ask for?!
And to keep things a little out of the ordinary, a flute propels the tracks along.

So if you're looking for something new you won't go far wrong with this album.
Leave it running too for the last 'hidden' track.
I'm looking forward to more from this band.

Many thanks to everyone that has shown an interest / supported us, it's really appreciated!

The album has had a great review in Vive Le Rock; "a subversive soundtrack delivered to the altar of alternative rock", a goth epic in the making", are just a cuiple of their comments! We are really excited to be launching the album next Sunday here...

It would be great to see some of you there...if you can make it come and say hi...I'm the bass-player in the mask!

Re: Shades of Plato....Soho Sleaze

A few folk on here have been very kind about our band Shades of Plato; some have come to gigs, bought the album and given great reviews...its all truely appreciated.

We are recording the second album, a slow process as we all have other commitments...in the meantime here's our new single...Mr Von Hugo. Mr v H is an artist friend of ours, check out his website if you have the inclination http://www.mrvonhugo.com/

We handed the making of the video over to him; the song is all about him so the band are in it fleetingly. Enjoy our Soho Sleaze!
