If you notice the topic counts on the forums now you will realise that there`s around 2000+ topics/threads. Before posting a new topic it is advisable to do a search to see if the topic already exists. That way:-
1. We don`t get duplicate topics returned when people are searching.
2. People don`t get pissed at having to re-read something that`s already being posted
3. Bandwidth on the site isn`t wasted.
Obviously I`m not gonna ban someone (not one person is banned from this site) for posting something already on the board but I may close (or delete) their duplicate topic without notice and effort on my part as you`ve not had the effort to do a quick search before posting.
In my eyes these forums hold the most information regarding the Stranglers for anyone wishing to research the band or simply look something up that interests them. Let`s not add to the search results by creating duplicate topics.

Again we seem to have this problem - Why all the SBE threads?! Totally unnecessary. If you`re going to post something to do with SBE have a look to see if any threads are all ready in existance. This will help YOU when you carry out searches as it will minimise the results returned and makes the forums more "readable".
