A stone bird bath would offer a drink as well as a bath, thus "killing two birds with one stone".

Sunflower hearts in hanging feeders will get the finches in. Those little black niger seeds are supposed to work as well, but I've never had any success with them. General seed mix for things like dunnocks, blackbirds, sparrows either on a bird table or on the ground. Make sure you don't make them sitting targets for cats.
I'll even let you drive my motorbike . . .

2 for 1 and/or a big 'Sale' sign, will have them flocking!

How about some bottles of Prosseco, boxes of Thornton chocolates and a bit of Simply Red playing in the background?

Fat balls work best in Winter when birds are fattening up ready to mate in the Spring..
Hanging bird feeders are good but make sure you get the squirrel proof ones or they'll steal the lot.*
White sunflower seeds are the best for attracting Finches, Tits, Sparrows, Starlings, Robins, etc.
I buy them in large sacks for around £30.
The black sunflower seeds are cheaper but tend to only attract half the breeds of birds and you'll get more Starlings.
The wild seed mixtures are good but remember they are 'live' seeds and any spillage will create weeds in your garden.
Also, dried worms and insects. You can buy them in packets.
*And here's my personal tip for keeping squirrels off the hanging feeders.
Firstly, hang the feeders from a pole not from a tree.
The poles come in all sorts but you can get 7 or 8 foot high poles that have 4 'branches' so you can hang different things from each.
Take some old vegetable fat and melt it in an old frying pan, add the juice from a jar of jalapenos and/or put in some black, crushed peppercorns. Put the stuff in a jar to cool.
Then wipe the mixture all over the pole except on the actual bird feeders.
Birds have no real sense of taste and it won't upset them.
However, squirrels hate it. It gets on their feet and they have to lick it off.
It won't harm them but they REALLY don't like it.
The mixture stays stuck to the poles through several torrential downpours or a month of light showers.
I call it Squirrel Napalm....
Oh, and use rubber gloves and/or wash your hands thoroughly.
Cause you won't like it either if you forget and wipe your eyes.
Ouch....

Great tits tend to be a bit larger.
