RIP - Was surprised to see recently though that they were advertising a new tour in 2016 - He didn't look too good so I was surprised that was planned.

yeah, when they toured here (USA) this autumn he looked awful TBH they could only play an hour or so and he had to be helped on and off the stage - the spring tour was with saxon and girl school and i think that was more to pad out the concert than any other reason (over here they had two support bands) a true legend and RIP but it does make me think whats happening with jet with no live gigs is 100% the right thing as to see how frail Lemmy was in person was really sad

R.I.P. Lemmy. I saw Motorhead live 3 times. They were a great live band. I see that J.J. has just paid tribute on the Stranglers web site.

Such sad news a true Giant in the sense of his influence on music and as a decent honest human being. He lived his life to the full and loved what he did.I never saw Motorhead live,I regret

that but all my time wen't on The Stranglers. He will be badly missed but his legend and music will live on by the millions of people worldwide who loved Lemmy and Motorhead- R.i.P.

Such a sad day. I saw him in June earlier this year at the Eden project where Motorhead headlined with the Stranglers on the same bill. He didn't look very good, but my word did he pack a powerful sound! R.I.P.
