I don't know much about this band but they sound quite good on You tube. Any fans on here?

I got into them from youtube and have most of the 80s stuff. "Strange Times" is a fantastic album and there's some great tracks on the first two as well, particularly "Don't Fall" and "Up The Down Escalator".
Have fun discovering :)

Loved them in the 80s and 'In Shreds' is an all time classic single for me, first heard on Peel's show. Their vinyl was always worth a fair amount and that's what I did, sold 'em all. I liked Script of the Bridge but didn't love it.
Think I'll go for a stroll in the trees.

Love 'em. Although all of my favourites were on the first album.
And of those this is top...

A Person Isn't Safe Anywhere These Days is one of my all time favourite tracks.

I only have one of their albums, "Return Of The Roughnecks" which is a 'best of compilation. Highly recommended for someone who wants a taster.

I saw them live about 15 years ago and they were superb. However, I also bought an album around the same time (the name escapes me) which was utter shit. One of the few CDs that I've actually returned to the record store. So, my advice would be to tread carefully and stick with the 80's stuff.

I can't say I've heard any Chameleons stuff, but I did very much like a CD I bought by "The Sun and the Moon", which featured two of the band. Is Chameleons stuff similar in style to it, does anyone know?

The Sun and the Moon has a similar feel to Strange Times. The first two Chameleons albums have more of a live feel to them. All are worth buying. How they were never huge I'll never know!

A great band and a big musical influence for me over the years.

One of our colleagues on this Forum is also a huge fan.
