Just remember the days as long as the time that you keep.

Nostalgia, it ain't what it used to be.

Anyway Spooner - "Internet police"?! You're sounding a bit sensitive there. 8)

Back in 1983 I went to the record stall on Rotherham market to buy Midnight Summer Dream 12" but sadly it had been sold. And so I spent my money at the stall opposite - on a bag of coconut macaroons. Ahh, the good old days!

Blimey, haven't heard that one before. Hope you got home OK afterwards and consoled yourself with a bit of Boney. Em. Those really were the days.

There must be more gems out there.

You can either be part of the problem or part of the solution.

And, unfortunately I (like a few other old hands) may be guilty of the former.

TBC, your Blackburn review was one of the best things on here recently - and good to see. Perhaps the 'forum gold' is being diluted by (too much) 'forum inanity'. I can remember reading practically every new post.... now I may not even read every new thread.

I don't know - only where I see it.
Allow me to re-arrange your face, sometimes I'd really like to get to know you better

Compared to The Damned forum this place is positively thriving.

You're lucky if you get three people visiting a day over there.

It's different on Facebook though.
The Damned's various Facebook fan sites get hundreds of posts every day.
And The Stranglers...not so as you would notice.
