Am I mad or a gent

Am I mad or a gent
Lat night I was approached several times by a customer at the pub I work part time at.She was very attractive and drunk she explained her husband had left her the previous week I seemed very nice and would I care to sleep with her? I declined on the basis that this might not be the right thing for her (also I did not say but it might have Crown Court written all over it) and of she departed in bad humour. Recently divorced myself this morning I kick myself. Am I mad or a gent?
Re: Am I mad or a gent
A gent I'd say. Both you and she would have felt bad this morning.
Re: Am I mad or a gent
You did the correct and gentlemanly thing. Stop kicking yourself.
I've got some chloroform and handcuffs, just for you.

Which pub do you work at, and when will she next be in?

Might have had 'Crown Court written all over it' and you're asking this question??
With respect, Get A Grip
you did the right thing.
Anyway, if she's that in to you then she'll be back and you can skip off together in the sunset

Re: Am I mad or a gent
thank you all for making me feel better
re the Crown Court bit I am only surmising my concerns from the night before but having recently divorced an adulteress some regrets at lost opportunities did arise this morning
the funny thing was that at the end she expressed surprise at my age (50) thinking I was only about 38 and pointing out that at my age I was unlikely to get a better offer!
to the gentleman who asked the pub, I will keep that to myself, just in case....
she lives very close by (yards away from pub) and I do know her name and she is gorgeous
this could form the basis of a five word story

Just because she is gorgeous doesn't necessarily mean she is any good in the sack. Never judge a book by it's cover! May be like flinging a welly down Fulham High Street.

Oh come on Paul, we're all friends here! Being unsure whether or not she'd feel bad the next morning, I'd be happy to find that out for ya! After all, what are friends for???PaulD wrote:to the gentleman who asked the pub, I will keep that to myself, just in case....

I was engaged to a gorgeous lass, she turned out to be quite ugly inside though. She was a nurse and you know what, she made me ill :D
Paul, I would definitely chase this situation up if I were you.
